Step-By-Step Guide to Setting Up DNS Records for Your Site with Cloudflare
1. Access Cloudflare Account:
Log into your Cloudflare account and select the domain you wish to modify.
2. Navigate to the DNS Tab:
Click the 'DNS' tab located at the top of the page.
3. Initiate the Addition of a New Record:
Select '+ Add Record' at the top of the list of DNS records.
4. Configure Record Type and Details:
Set the Type to 'CNAME', the Name to 'www', the Target to 's.multiscreensite.com', and the Proxy Status to 'DNS Only'. Leave the TTL as the default setting, then click 'Save'.
5. Add Second Record:
Select '+ Add Record' again at the top of the list. This time, set the Type to 'A', the Name to '@', the Target to '35.172.94.1', and the Proxy Status to 'DNS Only'. Again, leave the TTL as the default setting and click 'Save'.
6. Add Third Record:
Once more, click '+ Add Record'. Set the Type to 'A', the Name to '@', the Target to '100.24.208.97', and the Proxy Status to 'DNS Only'. Leave the TTL as the default setting, then click 'Save'.
Note: Your custom domain will now direct to your website. Although this might occur swiftly, it can take up to 48 hours for your registrar to propagate these new DNS settings. Please allow for this full period before attempting to modify your settings again.
