Step-By-Step Guide to Using the Templates Library

1. Access Applications Menu:

Hover over the navigation bar to the left of the dashboard and select ‘Templates’.

2. Select the Templates Tab:

Once you're in the 'Templates' application, ensure you're on the 'Templates' tab.

3. Browsing the Templates:

View the range of templates available. Use the filters on the left to sort templates by 'Type' or 'Category', or utilize the search bar in the top-right corner by entering relevant keywords. Matching results will appear promptly.

4. Preview or Create a Template:

Hover over a chosen template and click on 'Create' or 'Preview'. The 'Preview' option allows you to visualize the appearance of the message on a user's mobile device.

5. Modifying the Template:

By clicking 'Create', a new menu titled 'Create Email Template' or 'Create SMS Template' will appear, depending on the type you selected. You're now able to modify any available field.

Note: Certain templates make use of placeholders that don't correspond to any Personalization options. For instance, a lead magnet email template might have the 'Person-FirstName' personalization field activated, yet contain multiple placeholder fields like 'Name of Lead Magnet' and 'Benefit of Lead Magnet'. Since these details are highly specific, they need to be defined prior to using the template.

6. Testing the Template:

After making any necessary modifications, test the template using your existing account credits. Navigate to the 'Test Your Email' or 'Test Your SMS' fields at the bottom, enter the required details, and click 'Send Test'.

7. Saving the Template:

Once you're content with your template, click 'Save' in the top-right corner. The saved template can now be utilized throughout other platform applications, such as 'Contacts', 'Deals', 'Inbound', and more.
