Step-By-Step Guide to Setting up a Custom Domain for Your Funnel With Cloudflare
1. Access Cloudflare Account:
Log in to your Cloudflare account.
2. Select the Domain:
Select the domain you'd like to use for the funnel.
3. Find the DNS Records:
Go to 'DNS' then go to 'Records'.
4. Add CNAME Record:
Click 'Add record'. Then, Choose 'CNAME' as the record Type. In the 'Name' field, enter '@' for the root domain or 'www' for a subdomain. In the 'Target' field, paste the value provided in the Funnels app in the dashboard. Leave the TTL (Time to Live) as 'Auto', and click 'Save'.
5. Add TXT Records:
Click 'Add record'. Then, Choose 'TXT' as the record Type. In the 'Name' field, enter '@' for the root domain or 'www' for a subdomain. In the 'Target' field, paste the value provided in the Funnels app in the dashboard. Leave the TTL (Time to Live) as 'Auto', and click 'Save'.
Do this twice, using the two different TXT records generated in the Funnels app in the dashboard.
6. Validate Domain Configuration:
Press the 'Validate Domain Configuration' button. This should validate the domain, making sure that the DNS records have been configured properly. If they have, the domain and SSL statuses should show 'Connected'. If not, double-check the DNS records.
Note: DNS records may take 24โ48 hours to update across the entire internet. Different internet users may get different results when they try to visit or use your site during that time.
