Different Campaign Registration Types and Example Messages

There are different campaign registrations types that you can use to complete your A2P registrations. Below are the different types and example messages that you can use to complete the registrations

Note: We recommend not just simply copying and pasting the messages, you should make some alterations for security measures. Also, make sure to input the correct business information for your business in the designated areas. For general information about A2P registration, click here.

1. 2FA (Two Factor Authentication):

Any authentication or account verification such as OTP (One-Time Password).

Example Messages:

Campaign Use Case Description:

"We send OTPs and other authentication messages to verify user accounts."

Sample message #1:

"This is [Your Business Name]. Your OTP for account verification is 123456."

Sample message #2:

"[Your Business Name] - Your OTP for resetting your password is 789012. Reply STOP to unsubscribe."

How do end-users consent to receive messages?:

"End-users provide consent when they sign up for an account and opt-in for 2FA."

Opt-in Keywords:

"START"

Opt-in Message:

"Welcome to [Your Business Name]! You've opted for 2FA for secure account access. Reply STOP to opt-out."

2. Account Notifications:

Notifications about the status of an account or related to being a part of an account.

Example Messages:

Campaign Use Case Description:

"We send updates about account status and related information to our users."

Sample message #1:

"Hello, this is [Your Business Name]. Your account balance is now $1000."

Sample message #2:

"[Your Business Name] - Your premium membership will expire in a week. Reply STOP to unsubscribe."

3. Customer Care:

Support, account management, and other avenues of customer interaction.

4. Delivery Notifications:

Information about the status of a delivery.

8. Mixed:

A campaign that covers multiple use cases such as Customer Care and Delivery Notifications. Note that mixed campaigns are likely to have lower throughput and a higher cost per message.

For conducting polling and voting, such as customer surveys. This is not for political use.

Notification of a compromised system, either software or hardware related
